Worship Service

10:15 am - 11:45 am

The focus of our worship service is the preaching of the word of God. We have grown to love the old hymns of the faith which are rooted in rich doctrine and enjoy singing them along with a gentle mix of carefully selected contemporary choruses.

Children's Church

10:45 am - 11:45 am

Parents are encouraged to keep their children with them in the worship service in order to benefit from the proclamation of the word of God. Children's church is available, however, for all children ages 4 and under. Also, a special room with a television monitor is provided for nursing mothers who feel they need to step out but who desire to participate in this special hour of worship.

Sunday School

9:00 - 10:00 am

As Calvary is a fairly small congregation, we are able to have one adult Sunday School class where we all meet together for study and prayer. While the preaching in our worship service is consistently expository, often the Sunday School hour is devoted to addressing a topic from the word of God that has powerful implications for every adult believer. On other occasions we invest our time in an inductive study of a particular book of the Bible. All are welcome.

In our children's Sunday School classes we use a "God-centered" curriculum, based on the belief that the Bible is a book first and foremost about God. Each lesson seeks to teach the Scripture in its context, while directing the children's attention to how that portion of the Bible to fits into God's progressive revelation of the excellencies of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Youth ages 14 and up are encouraged to come to these classes where practical life issues are addressed in the light of who God has revealed Himself to be in His word. The classes are split up by gender and age group. Each class also meets for ministry opportunities and fun events. Parents are always welcome.
